About Me
Hi, I’m Dan.
I am a qualified psychotherapist who provides therapy for individual adults and young people.
I am also currently in training in the specialist field of sex and relationships therapy and can offer individual sessions of psychosexual therapy at a reduced rate.
Is therapy right for you?
Choosing the right therapist is extremely important and you’re encouraged to speak with a few to get an idea of what type of person and therapist will be the best fit for you.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation, where we can have a chat and to see if we are the right fit. If you decide to continue, we will book our first session.
The first session will be more formal and involve some assessment work and come to an agreement about how we work together to support you in reaching your goals.
What is Therapy?
Therapy can be a great place to free yourself up and process though difficult thoughts and emotions.
I provide a safe, confidential and open space for you to explore whatever it is you wish to bring to your sessions.
I work to the confidentiality and ethical standards set by the BACP and COSRT. I am an inclusive therapist and work with all people.
I work with a pluralistic approach, which means I work with you and tailor fit our therapy to you and what you best need. Therapy can be hard work but that work can be immensely rewarding. We will usually meet once per week for a 50 minute session and you may be given work or tools to work through at home.
